At Back 2 Movement, we do things differently. Our approach goes beyond traditional chiropractic care by integrating movement-based rehabilitation and active care to help you recover faster and return to the activities you love. Here’s what you can expect when you visit us.

​Your First Visit

Your initial appointment will last one hour and is designed to give us a comprehensive understanding of your condition, goals, and movement patterns. This is not just about diagnosing pain—it’s about identifying what’s holding you back and creating a clear, actionable plan to get you moving again.

Step 1: In-Depth History & Physical Exam

​We start by taking a deep dive into your medical history and performing a thorough movement-based physical exam. This allows us to pinpoint the underlying factors that may be limiting your ability to move freely and without pain.

Step 2: Movement Discovery

Before beginning treatment, we focus on discovering movements that you can perform on your own to improve your pain or limitation. We believe that the key to long-term healing is empowerment—helping you understand that you have the ability to take control of your recovery.

Step 3: Treatment & Manual Therapy

Once we identify effective movement strategies, we incorporate hands-on treatment, which may include:
  • Chiropractic Adjustments (as a tool, not a cure-all)
  • Manual Therapy to address muscle tightness and joint restrictions
  • ​Sports Medicine Techniques for optimal performance and recovery

Step 4: Functional Movement Integration

After treatment, we reinforce movement strategies designed to restore mobility, reduce pain, and get you Back2 the activities you love.

Step 5: Recovery Timeline & Plan

Before wrapping up, we’ll discuss:
  • How many treatments may be needed to reach your Back2 goal
  • A plan for continued progress, movement strategies, and at-home exercises
  • What you can expect in the next phases of your recovery

What to Wear

Since movement is a big part of your treatment, we recommend wearing athletic or comfortable clothing to your visit. Changing rooms are available if needed.

Each follow-up visit is designed to build on your progress and fine-tune your treatment plan. These sessions are shorter but packed with effective treatments and movement strategies, keeping you on track toward your goals.
